Jessica Boraca

Co-Founder, Consultant

Jessica Boraca, Founder and Lead Consultant at To The Edges Inc., is passionate about empowering educators to design inclusive, accessible, and high-impact learning environments. With over 15 years in education as a special education and general education teacher, instructional coach, and district-level inclusion specialist, Jessica brings a deep understanding of both classroom practice and systems-level change. Jessica’s work centers on practical, research-based strategies that build capacity and foster collaboration across all levels of a school system. Woven throughout her professional learning series, Jessica brings team members together in active dialogue and discussions, while keeping meaningful collaboration at the forefront. She has partnered with districts throughout the NorthShore of Chicago to implement inclusive practices and has presented at national education conferences such as Closing the Gap and Gigi’s Playhouse National Leadership Conference.

Inspired by her sister Julie’s educational experience, Jessica founded To The Edges Inc. Growing up in a family with a sibling with a disability, Jessica experienced firsthand the power of relationships and belonging within a school community. Her parents always advocated for her sister to be included in general education classrooms, but in the 1990s, those efforts often reflected integration rather than true inclusion. This early experience shaped Jessica’s belief that every student deserves not only access to the classroom but meaningful participation, connection, and opportunities to thrive.
